By popular request (well, a few of you have asked) I'm super excited to say that I've started work on Book Five in the DCI Jane Birchfield series.
The first thousand words are in the bag, so only another 80,000 or so to go!
She's still in Manchester, in a new job, and it's already clear that she's facing some very tricky personal and professional challenges.
But it's fair to say she wasn't expecting a murder.
In case you missed any, the four books are, in sequence: Every Reason; Whatever It Takes; Retribution; and Beneath The Surface.
I haven't decided on the title of the next one, but you'll be the first to know!
